I cannot describe how excited I am to announce that one of the images I took for a senior this past season, has been published in a magazine! Sam was one of my seniors this year, and while football and baseball are part of his passion, he loves basketball.

We shot this on a basketball court where he went to elementary school - outside in the direct sun. We played around with a ton of poses, but this one was one of my favorites. Thanks to the flash on the strongest setting, we were able to overcome the harsh light of the sun and get this image.

Shutter Magazine has been one of my favorite magazines to read and to learn from over the past several years. Every year I submit a few images to see what happens.
